Mind your gaps en beoefen active open mindedness

This blog (in Dutch) was inspired by Tetlock and Gardner's book Superforecasters, Hans Rosling's book Factfulness and his website Gapminder and the question how we can understand the world and make accurate predictions when we are locked up in our media-bubbles. I also raise the question whether investigative journalists should pre-register their projects to ensure that 'no scandal after much research' are published too. After publishing the blog I wondered if understanding the world is the key issue or if it is changing it (free after Karl Marx' "Philosophers have only interpreted the world, the point however is to change it")
