Lucy Walton is the Scholarly Publishing Consultant for Western Sydney University. Lucy has worked in a variety of roles in both public and private sectors, and in positions such as Senior Librarian, Digital Discovery & Services, Segment Product Manager, Associate Director of Copyright Licensing Services and Associate Director of Information Services. Lucy supports the open scholarship movement and the sharing of knowledge beyond research communities. Lucy is an active participant in the open education and research communities through CAUL working groups, Open Access Australasia, Australasian OEP Special Interest Group (ASCILITE), Creative Commons Australasia Communications Working Group, SPARC (Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition), OE Global Connect, and Society for Scholarly Publishing.
