Mhel Cedric D. Bendo is a student researcher and academic writer currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines–Maragondon Campus. His research interests include mobile and digital learning environments, AI in education, educational psychology, educational assessment, psychometrics, and financial technology (FinTech), with particular emphasis on technology-mediated learning, digital participation, and contemporary educational issues within emerging digital societies.

 

He serves on the editorial boards of the SIAR-Global Journal of Humanities, Management & Educational Review, the SIAR-Global Journal of Literatures & Educational Review, the International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Exploration (IJMRE), the International Journal of Advanced Multidisciplinary Application (IJAMA), and the International Journal of Educational and Psychological Sciences (IJEPS). He previously served as a Technical Editor for an international academic journal and currently serves as a peer reviewer for several international scholarly journals, including Cogent Education (Taylor & Francis), the Online Learning Journal (OLJ), and the Journal of Learning for Development (JL4D).

Beyond scholarly publishing, he also writes research-informed commentary, essays, and literary pieces that engage with themes of education, media literacy, public discourse, culture, and social development. His writings have appeared in regional and national Philippine newspapers and publications, including Punto! Central Luzon, Daily Guardian, Mindanao Times, SunStar Cebu, BusinessMirror, Manila Bulletin, Young Blood under the Philippine Daily Inquirer, and the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
